Encontro na Turquia - Polatli - 30 de março a 04 de abril/Meeting in Turkey - Polatli - 30th march to 4th april

No âmbito do Projeto Comenius, tivemos a oportunidade de visitar a Turquia entre 31 de março e 4 de abril.

Fomos acolhidos gentilmente pela professora Sevcan Kurt, coordenadora do Projeto Comenius de Polatli, cidade em que ficamos alojados. Tivemos o privilégio de ficar hospedados em sua casa e, consequentemente, conviver diretamente com a diferente, mas bela, cultura turca.

Todas as deslocações e visitas foram devidamente acompanhadas de boa disposição e divertimento,  embora também estivesse sempre  presente a  vontade e prazer de conhecer o desconhecido, de aprender mais sobre esta nova cultura mais oriental , sobre a sua religião,  sobre o idolatrado fundador da República turca, Atatürk, sobre as suas  fantásticas e contagiantes danças, sobre a sua picante gastronomia, sobre o seu passado e a sua história .

Tudo isto só foi possível graças a todos os participantes do Projeto Get Europe up and Playing.  Agradecer parece não ser suficiente para mostrar toda a nossa gratidão ao país anfitrião, aos membros do Projeto, à professora coordenadora Sevcan Kurt e sua família, que amavelmente nos acolheu , às professoras Julieta Pereira e Edite Santos e à diretora da nossa escola , Fátima Rodrigues.

Deixamos a Turquia com um enorme sentido de gratidão por esta fantástica e única oportunidade que nos foi dada e com saudade de todos os amigos que fizemos lá!

The Comenius Project offered us the opportunity to visit Turkey for 5 days, from 31st March to 4th April . We were kindly received by Kurt Sevcan , coordinator of the Comenius Project of Polatli , city where we stayed . We were privileged to be hosted in her home and therefore having directly contact with the different, but beautiful Turkish culture. During all the visits, we had good disposition and fun, never forgetting the pleasure that knowledge can give. It was a deep experience, to learn more about the culture of this “almost” oriental country, their religion about the founder of the Turkish Republic Atatürk , about their fantastic and contagious dances, about the spicy food, about the past and history of Turkey. This was only possible thanks to all participants of the project Europe Get up and Playing . And after this trip, It doesn’t seems sufficient to show all our gratitude: to the host country ; to the members of the Project; to the coordinating teacher Sevcan Kurt and her family , who kindly welcomed us ; to teachers Julieta Pereira and Edite Santos; to director of our school , Fatima Rodrigues . We left Turkey with this very portuguese feeling – saudade- and the sense of gratitude for this fantastic and unique opportunity.
